The Grand Terrace Woman’s Club has been serving our community since 1908. We are a non profit open to all women and men. We meet the 3rd Wednesday of the month at the Grand Terrace City Hall Community Room; dark months of June, July and August

We are now hosting Bingo at the Grand Terrace Senior Center. Open to all. Included in the cost of $25 is 6 Bingo cards for all games with refreshments. Mark your calendars: June 9th & 23rd; July 7th & 21st; August 11th & 25th at 1pm. Call 840-228-8880 if interested in having fun.

In addition to having fun, our Club raises money and collects items for numerous charities. We have collected socks for the unhoused (Toasty Toes); Easter basket supplies to The Heart Matters Foster Family Agency; needed food for Ronald McDonald House; book donations to the local library and just recently we collected hygiene products and socks for the homeless veterans. Our other philanthropies include but are not limited to Operation Smile (provides free cleft surgery); school scholarships; St. Jude’s Hospital; nursing scholarships; Penny Pines (reforestation of our National Forests); Kind News magazine (subscription to our local 2nd graders; helps children understand and respect animals); Tunnel To Towers (supports families of fallen heroes); donation of bus passes for veterans and last year at Christmas we gave 4 local families in need a $500 Stater Gift card and a $300 gift card to Target or Walmart in addition to toys. We work together and we accomplish a great deal.

We also participate in local activities such as the Blue Mountain Festival where we raffled off a bicycle and 2 family game night baskets. At the Memorial Day Observance at the Veterans Freedom Park held May 27th, we donated a beautiful patriotic wreath. Another great event for us is Light Up Grand Terrace. We have sugar cookies available for children to decorate and eat.

If interested in joining our Club or if you have any questions, contact us a 840-228-8880.
