GT Artist/Drummer Jason Greeley Gears Up for Pantera at The Forum

Grand Terrace drummer, artist, & business owner of Lowbrow Inc., Jason Greeley, known for his work with the band Cold Ethyl, is looking forward to attending the Pantera concert at The Forum on August 27. For Greeley, the show is more than just a night of heavy music — it’s a chance to honor the legacy of one of metal’s most iconic bands.

Pantera, formed in the 1980s, was propelled into rock history with its groundbreaking sound and powerful lineup. The Abbott brothers — drummer Vinnie Paul and guitarist “Dimebag” Darrell — were at the heart of the band’s thunderous energy. Tragically, both musicians have since passed away. Darrell was fatally shot while performing on stage on December 8, 2004, and Vinnie Paul later died in 2018.

Despite these losses, Pantera’s music lives on. The band’s current lineup is carrying the torch, keeping their legendary songs alive for fans old and new.

For Greeley, who has played countless local shows in and around Grand Terrace, the opportunity to see Pantera live is both thrilling and deeply meaningful. “As a drummer, Vinnie Paul has always been a huge influence on me,” he said. “Getting to experience Pantera’s music live at The Forum is something I’ve been looking forward to. It’s about celebrating the music and remembering the brothers who gave so much to metal.”

In addition to being an active musician, Greeley also owns and operates Lowbrow Inc, a creative business known for its bold, alternative style. The shop reflects Greeley’s passion for art, music, and individuality, offering customers a place where underground culture and creativity come together. Much like his drumming, his business thrives on originality and a love for the community.

The concert is expected to draw thousands of fans, all gathering to celebrate Pantera’s enduring impact on heavy metal. For Greeley and many others, it will be a night of powerful music, memories, and respect for a band that reshaped the genre.
