I-215 Barton Road Construction

Nighttime lane reductions and ramp closures are scheduled next week on I-215 between Mt. Vernon Avenue and Iowa Avenue from Monday, July 23 through Friday, July 27 (7 P.M. - 6 A.M.).

Periodic ramp closures at Barton Road are expected throughout the work schedule. Motorists are urged to take alternative routes if possible and allow extra time to reach their destination.

Wall Construction on NORTH side of Barton: Crews will be initiating work on the walls adjacent to Grand Terrace Elementary School on the north side of Barton Road. Safe work zones with either concrete barriers or lane closures w ill be necessary during portions of this work. Drivers should be on the look out for crews working in the area. Proceed cautiously.

Interstate 215 (Freeway Lanes)

Up to three lanes may be closed at any given time from 7pm to 6am; at least one lane will remain open at all times.

Barton Road On and Off Ramps

Shifting ramp closures may be necessary during the construction window of 7p.m. to 6a.m.. Motorists are encouraged to use the adjacent ramps to the north or south of Barton Road.

Barton Road

Bridge over I-215 is reduced to one lane in each direction. Motorists should be prepared for intermittent lane closures between Grand Terrace Road and Mt. Vernon Avenue.
