In Loving Memory Michael "Mickey" Paul Bubier

Michael Paul Bubier lost his five-year battle with mesothelioma on September 29th, 2018. Mickey, as most people knew him, was born on February 15th, 1951 in San Bernardino, California to Charles Tony and Daisy Mae Bubier. Mickey lived in Muscoy, California and graduated from San Bernardino High School in 1969. He continued his education obtaining an AA degree from San Bernardino Valley College. In October 1978 Mickey married his wife Danelle "Dani" and in November 1978 they moved to Grand Terrace, California. He held several jobs as a teen and young adult. He was employed by Sears, the very first McDonald's, GTE, then Verizon, which he retired from.

Mickey enjoyed volunteering for several Grand Terrace Community organizations. He was very active with the Grand Terrace Swim Club from 1979 to 1985, San Bernardino County Sheriff's Citizen Patrol, the Grand Terrace Lions Club and was a founding member of the Veterans Wall of Freedom committee.

Mickey was preceded in death by his parents. He leaves behind his wife Danelle "Dani" Bubier of Grand Terrace, his daughter Niki Page of Oceanside, grandsons Austin and Clint Page of Grand Terrace, brother and sister-in-law Scott and Vicky Bubier of San Bernardino, and nephew Scotty Bubier are of Tennessee.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations made to Loma Linda Lions Eye Foundation or the Grand Terrace Lions Club Building Fund. A casual Celebration of Life will be held on October 20th, 2018 at Highgrove Community Center from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m. the family requests Hawaiian attire or car shirts be worn.
