The Grand Terrace Grocery Outlet is this week’s local business to giveaway a prize as a participator in the City News Group, Inc. Sweepstakes program, a program created to inform the community that their local businesses are still open.

“We are thrilled and excited to have this opportunity to provide gift cards that will be given to local residents as part of City News’ promotion,” said Eric and Priscilla Santillan, Grand Terrace Grocery Outlet Operators.

“It not only allows us to partner with a local organization, but it also allows residents to come shop our store and experience what we call “Bargain Bliss.””

Having their background deeply rooted in Grand Terrace, the operators emphasized that part of their reason for becoming owners was for the community.

“Being the independent owner-operator of the Grocery Outlet in Grand Terrace allows us to be part of our community on a more in-depth level,” said Eric and Priscilla Santillan. “We love that we have the freedom to provide the support that the community needs and to engage with our local partners.”

As a way to give back to a community that the owners love, Grand Terrace Grocery Outlet is giving away free gift cards to lucky winners of the City News Group Sweepstakes program. Entering to win for Grand Terrace Grocery Outlet also enters every entrant into the drawing for $1,000 on December 3rd!

Anyone can win and entering to win is always no purchase necessary!

This week’s winner is Cynthia Bell, resident of Grand Terrace who loves to watch TV, play with her puppy, and play computer games.

“It feels great,” Bell said. “I very rarely win anything and this came as a pleasant surprise!”

Bell found out about the Sweepstakes opportunity from seeing a post on Facebook.

“I figured why not take a chance, but I didn't think I would win anything,” Bell said.

During this pandemic, Bell and any customer can rest assured knowing that the Grand Terrace Grocery Outlet have made changes to their business operations to ensure safety.

“We have made the safety of our customers and employees our top priority” said Eric and Priscilla Santillan.

“We have implemented stringent procedures for cleaning major touchpoints throughout the store, and made it an important part of our team’s daily routine. We have a sanitation station for customers by the store entrance.”

We look up to and are proud of our local businesses, like Grand Terrace Grocery Outlet for keeping their doors open and for continuing to serve the community.

“We are happy to be part of the Grand Terrace community and be able to provide big savings on name-brand, high quality groceries,” said Eric and Priscilla Santillan.

“We appreciate the support that we have received from the community. We give back whenever we can, and we try every day to exceed customers’ expectations.”

A community should support each other and we hope this is a way to bring everyone together again. For more information please visit www.CityNewsGroup.com
