The Veterans Wall of Freedom Organization and the Foundation of Grand Terrace regretfully announce the cancellation of the Veterans Day Celebration that was scheduled for November 11, 2020, at the Veterans Wall of Freedom in Grand Terrace, California. Just as the Memorial Day Ceremony earlier this year, this event has been cancelled due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic and especially out of concern for our veterans, many whom are elderly.
Although the celebration has been cancelled, Veterans Freedom Park will be open for limited visitation to the Veterans Wall of Freedom on Veterans Day from 10 a.m. to 12 noon. This will allow an opportunity for those that have ordered a plaque for their veteran to visit the site. Plaque certificates will also be available to be picked up. The number of individuals entering the park at one time may be limited and social distancing will be observed.
The public is asked to honor our veterans of the military that served our Country by flying the US flag at their home or business on Veterans Day.
