Grocery Outlet Bargain Market is an extreme-value grocery retailer dedicated to bringing big savings on name brands and high-quality merchandise to the city of Grand Terrace. It is operated by residents, Eric and Priscilla Santillan, who have deep roots in Grand Terrace and have five generations of family in the area. Opening in 2020, the store will be celebrating its three-year anniversary on February 20.

The couple has a combined forty years of experience in management and talent acquisition. Before joining Grocery Outlet, Eric successfully managed high volume Supercenters with Walmart in So Cal for over 17 years. Over the course of his retail career, Eric received several awards for his community involvement. Eric is a member of The American Legion Post 155, Colton, and was a Sergeant in the U.S. Army where his leadership and passion to serve began. His name is also featured in the Veterans Wall of Freedom found at Veterans Freedom Park.

Priscilla has 23 years of experience in management and HR – Training Development with Learning Care Group. She participated in and sponsored numerous community events throughout the Inland Empire and was recognized with a District Leadership award for building and developing a team on multiple sites, and providing excellent customer service.

As owners of the new Grocery Outlet in Grand Terrace, Eric and Priscilla look forward to serving the community where their journey as a couple first began, amongst its residents, family, and friends. They have participated in community events such as Grand Terrace Community Day, Light Up Grand Terrace Christmas Event, and Santa Claus Toy Drive Cruise, and donate weekly to local food banks and community organizations such as Sick N’ Tired Recovery Home.

Just recently, the couple were featured speakers at the Grand Terrace Chamber of Commerce Mixer where they shared their vision to serve the community. As chamber members, and participating in community events, they have started out with a firm commitment to providing outstanding customer service and to making an impact in the community with Grocery Outlet’s mission of “touching lives for the better.”

“We are excited to partner with the city to do more for the community,” said Priscilla. “We are excited about the launch of our Chamber of commerce and are gearing up for the year ahead.”
