Residents are invited to attend Grand Terrace Community Clean Up Day on Saturday, September 22, 2018.
If you have bulky items that you’ve been meaning to throw out or need to be taken to a landfill, this event is a perfect opportunity for you.
The event will be held at Grand Terrace City Hall at 22795 Barton Road from 8 am to noon.
At this event, Burrtec, a California waste company, will collect bulky items such as Large and small appliances, mattresses, box springs, and bed frames, bicycles and swing sets, barbecues, carpet rolled and bundled (bundles should not exceed 4 feet), computer monitors, laptop computer, standard and LCD televisions up to 37 inches.
Items that will not be accepted are industrial waste, business waste, hazardous waste, engines and car parts, tires, building materials and bagged household trash.
In addition, Burrtec is offering free document shredding to help residents dispose of sensitive documents safely and securely.
