An additional $100 was donated in August 2013 to help build the Veterans Wall of Freedom, a project by the Foundation of Grand Terrace’s subcommittee The Veterans Wall of Freedom, in Pico Park. The Grand Terrace Dog Park Committee, a subcommittee of the Foundation of Grand Terrace, hosted its first rummage sale in November 2011, hoping to bring the community together to raise funds for the city’s proposed dog park and to bring awareness about the committee.

Grand Terrace Veterans Memorial Committee (a subcommittee of the Foundation of Grand Terrace) President Bob Lavin accepts a resolution from Bobbi Braedow on behalf of Senator Bob Dutton, which honors the work of the Committee to bring to fruition the City’s first-ever Veterans Memorial in Pico Park on Memorial Day 2012.
