9-17-26 ~ 7/26/13 Robert Earle was born in Brooklyn, N.Y. on September 17, 1926. He drove a cab in New York City until he joined the Army at the age of 18. He served in the Philippines during WWII. He married in 1949 and with his wife had two sons and a daughter. They came to California in November 1960 due to the health of his oldest son Bob. He went to work for Hunter Engineering in Riverside, which later was bought by Alumax. After arriving California he and his wife had their second daughter. He retired in 1991 at the age of 65. He was a Past President of The Moose Lodge of Fontana and a member for many years. Robert then went to work for his son Bob at his shop Magnolia Alignment Center, Inc. in Riverside for 20 years, where was a service writer. It was his great love, greeting and chatting with the customers, in addition to working alongside his great-grandson Dallas and dear friend Henry. He then retired again in 2011 at the age of 85. But not without a fight! Robert and his son Bob went on many wonderful fishing trips; he loved to fish. The pair went to Alaska twice and Canada once, plus took many motor home trips up north, where they had many wonderful times. Robert's health declined but he never missed a holiday, an Easter Egg Hunt, a Father's Day outing or any great-grandchild’s birthday party. His last great memory was the graduation party of three of his many great-grandchildren Bailey, Shaelyn and Dallas on June 1. Robert is survived by his loving wife Wanda, two sons Bob and Gary, and two daughters Bonnie and Linda. He is also survived by his stepchildren, Wanda’s two sons, Larry and Terry, his grandchildren and a total of 52 great-grandchildren. Robert passed away on Friday, July 26. He had all of his family by his side throughout his fight. He will truly be missed. Rest In Peace ~ Old Papa
